About our imaging center in Orlando
In our diagnostic imaging center, we perform most MRI and X-ray services.
Our highly qualified technicians will accompany you through all stages of MRI and radiography, and our team of professional radiologists will provide accurate results and diagnosis of your exams.
First of all, we would like to introduce you to the concept of “radiography.”
X-ray imaging is a diagnostic method where rays pass through the human body, creating an image on film or a computer display.
Purposes to perform radiography can be for a screening examination, diagnosis of suspected disease or injury, clarification of the diagnosis made on the basis of other studies, evaluation of the effectiveness of conservative and surgical treatment, monitoring in dynamics for drawing up or correcting a plan for further treatment, as well as monitoring in the long-term period for timely detection of relapses.
When performing x-ray, you receive a small dose of radioactive radiation. The dose is tiny and the scan only takes seconds. This makes x-ray the most popular method of diagnostics for its simplicity and immediate imaging.
Based on the results, the specialist either makes a diagnosis or prescribes an MRI or additional tests to complete a more global study of the body or a specific area.
If you are looking for an X-ray imaging center near you, feel free to call and visit us! We can accommodate early, late and same-day appointments.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology is one of the most sensitive diagnostic imaging tests available. This safe, noninvasive technology is useful for evaluating a wide range of disorders or conditions, including injury, tumors, stroke, and aneurysms.
To perform MRI, a person lies on a motorized table that is moved into the narrow interior of a large tubular scanner, which produces a magnetic field. Procedures can vary widely in time frames from 15 to 45 minutes depending on the body region being scanned.
MRI does not use radiation and is overall safe for most people with the exception of a few contraindications: pregnancy (unless necessary and approved by OBGYN), certain metal implants or fragments in the body, and electronic implanted devices.
